Site Features

Registration is required for purchasing from the K8 KidTunes MP3 store on MusicK8Kids.com. Children may not open their own allowance account; rather, a parent or guardian must set up an account for the child. In order to set up an allowance account, customers must be over 18 with a valid credit card. Please note: We will never ask for your child's personal contact information. We collect information needed to complete the transaction, including the parent's name, mailing/billing address, credit card information, initial dollar amount of allowance, and the frequency of replenishment of the allowance, if applicable. We ask for this information so we may fulfil your allowance request.

The information you submit to us in an Internet order is placed in a secure database (which is protected by a firewall), so that our Customer Service representatives can process your request and better serve you. For example, we ask you to provide a telephone number when you place an order so that a Customer Service representative can contact you, should there be any questions regarding your order.

Credit card numbers submitted to us as part of an Internet order through our secure store are transmitted in an encrypted format and protected by industry standard security software. This information will not be used outside of Plank Road Publishing, owners of MusicK8Kids.com, nor for any purpose other than for processing the order you placed.

Once the account is set up, children under the age of 18 may make purchases on the account, utilizing the account's username and password. You do not need to register to use any feature other than the K8 KidTunes MP3 store.

E-Mail

We will never send your child e-mail advertisements, nor will we contact your child by e-mail unless we are responding to a question or comment initiated by your child. In fact, we will not ask your child to provide us with his or her e-mail address.

We will send you an e-mail confirmation when you register and every time money is added to your child's account. This will provide you with a receipt for your credit card charge.

If you answer "Yes" to the question "Would you like to receive occasional e-mail updates?" when opening an account, we may send you occasional announcements of new products. We will never sell or trade your e-mail address, or any information we collect from you, to anyone.
